Recycled rASA is made by reprocessing post-consumer or post-industrial ASA waste, reducing the need for new raw material and reducing waste. ASA is less commonly recycled than PLA, ABS, or PETG. It generally retains ASA's core strength: UV and weather resistance, holding up in outdoor conditions that would degrade standard ABS. As with other recycled filaments, batch-to-batch color can vary since different sources are often mixed together. Recycled rASA suits outdoor enclosures, automotive exterior parts, and garden or furniture components where standard ASA would normally be used.
