HP® 3D High Reusability PA 12 FR is a flame-retardant polyamide 12 designed for Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing. It combines the mechanical durability, chemical resistance, and process reliability of standard HP PA 12 with enhanced fire-retardant properties, making it suitable for parts that must meet safety regulations in automotive, electronics, and industrial applications. This material is ideal for functional prototypes, housings, and enclosures where compliance with flammability standards is required, without compromising the excellent dimensional stability and reusability typical of HP’s High Reusability PA 12 family.

Matte gray, as-printed, functional surface.

Electroplated

Electroplated

8 colors

Electroplating is a process where a thin layer of metal is applied to plastic surfaces to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity.

Polished

Polished

19 colors

A smooth, glossy surface achieved through mechanical tumbling, enhancing aesthetics and reducing surface roughness on MJF PA12 parts.

Shot Peened

Shot Peened

19 colors

Shot peening improves both the aesthetic and functional durability of the models, making them smoother and more resilient.

Vapor Smoothed

Vapor Smoothed

19 colors

Vapor smoothing uses a vaporized solvent to partially melt and blend the outer layer of a 3D print, significantly reducing visible layer lines to create a more uniform, sealed finish.
